Three months old today..............

I really really love my bumbo chair

My neck is getting lovely and strong and I can hold it up for quite a long time now

Weight Update 23rd October 2008

Another 500 grams today and at his current weight of 6.62kgs Nic is now just touching the 98th centile for boys which basically means that 98 percent of English boys aged 8 weeks are smaller than him....and even if you don't correct his age he is now on the 75 centile which means that 75% of English boys aged 12 weeks are smaller than him - so even though he had a rough start he is definitely making up for it. Second set of inoculations today and he was very good for the first leg, not a peep, but after the second leg he had had enough and was still screaming when we left the rooms, not a distressed scream, just a furious one.

11.5 weeks old and oh soooooooooo cute.....

Removing the "K"

You will notice that I am no longer typing Nick with a "K" but simply as Nic....this is at the direct request of his granny in South Africa as she says there is no "K" in Nicholas so why am I adding it when I shorten his name....hell I dunno, I thought that was how you spell Nick (lol) so from now on he will be Nic Robertson minus the "K".

Took Nic to the clinic today and he has gained a further 280 grams which is over the ounce a day or 30 grams a day that the clinic is wanting so they are once again very chuffed....he now weighs 6.12kgs and is a whopping 4kgs more than he was at birth. He is spending a lot more time awake during the day and is generally on the go from around 7.30 am until 10.00am and then he literally conks out until 3pm when he again wakes up till about 7.30 pm.

11 Weeks old today......

Take that camera out of my face and let me sleep!!!!!!!!!!!!! My favourite way to spend the first hour after my daddy comes home

And yes for those of you who are thinking it, my dh has lost a huge amount of weight - all the cycling, walking and healthy living me thinks....now just wish it would happen to me (lol)

Clinic day again, I just can't believe how quickly the weeks pass. Nicholas had another good weight gain and is now 5.84kgs and the health care workers are thrilled with his progress. He is now quite stable with his head when sitting on our laps, just a little bobbing around, but very sweet. He is smiling more and more each day and is really experimenting with his voice, he hates being on his own and spends the entire time moaning to get attention...he is much loved by both his brother and sister and spends many happy times sitting on their laps while they watch tv. He truly is a little blessing, I asked the older two the other night if they were glad that we had had him, and for the first time in a long time they were in total agreement with an infatic YES!

And after all that smiling I need to rest

I know, I know it is the same suit as Sunday, but it is so cold here that mom is washing and I am wearing the same suit over and over coz it is nice and warm.
